The Annual Dubai Dance Festival is an incredible opportunity for both professionals and students to showcase their awesome talent on stage for the world to see and share . This is Dubai's biggest event with over 500 dancers and artists performing during the two day event.
Invited organisers of other international dance festivals will also be scouting for teams to invite to perform at their festivals.

| Selection Criteria |
| |
- The entire length of the nightly Shows cannot be longer than 2 hours, therefore the performance spots are very limited.
- There are 30 slots for national teams (Thursday & Friday nights)
- We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to perform, therefore:
a) Preference will be given to teams over couples, and
b) One person can only perform in a maximum of 2 shows at any particular night.
- Each school is allowed a maximum of 1 student team, and 1 professional team. Where the school presents a different style of dance, it will be up to th discretion of the Annual Dubai Dance Festival directors as to whether additional teams from the same school may perform.
- Definition of a school: Any dance company that runs dance classes on a permanent basis
- All performers must purchase a full pass which will give access to all 4 nights and 1 full day of workshops. Performers receive an AED 300 discount on the full pass (special price AED 250 if purchased before 15th May 2010). All perfomers will also receive a festival t-shirt of the 2010 Dance Festival.
